Barbara Lynn O’Donnell Age 79, native of Chicago, IL, received her Angel Wings on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Faie (Greenfield) Washburn. Barbara had an unmatched zest for life and love of people. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, hosting parties but most of all, she loved her children and her precious grandchildren. She was the best Mom on the planet, and Heaven has certainly gained an amazing woman.
Barbara’s memory will be forever honored by her daughter Kathleen (Clint) Spence, of Spring, Texas, and her sons, Patrick O’Donnell, of Chicago, IL, Timothy O’Donnell, of Fishers, IN, and Sean (Laurie) O’Donnell, of Delavan, WI; brother, Joe (Diane) Washburn of Gainesville, GA; seven beautiful grandchildren Ross O’Donnell, Ryan O’Donnell, Saralyn O’Donnell, Emery Spence, Carlie O’Donnell, Sean Collin O’Donnell and Peyton O’Donnell.
She was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Hoffman.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1204 N. Armstrong Street, Kokomo, Indiana, on Friday, February 16th, at 11:00 a.m. The Mass will be followed by a reception near the church. A Celebration of Life will also be held on Saturday, March 17th, at 3:30 p.m. in Spring, Texas, at the home of Katie and Clint Spence.
